Xorcom: new series XR1000

Xorcom has introduced its new line of XR1000 Asterisk appliances.

The XR1000 is an Asterisk server based on an embedded DSP, available with various combinations of phone ports: the system can handle up to 32 analog ports and up to 32 simultaneous calls.

Here is a summary of its features:

  • Various combinations of FXS and FXO ports
  • Supports SIP and IAX trunks and telephones is no limit to devices that can be recorded.
  • From 8 to 32 analog lines;
  • Up to 32 simultaneous calls
  • Supports auxiliary applicance (eg alarm systems)
  • Web interface for configuration and management.

For software, Xorcom says to use:

  • uCLinux
  • Asterisk 1.4
  • Asterisk GUI

All available in two chassis: a compact and a standard 1U rack stay comfortably in your rack.
