Released the code of Asterisk CTI

novembre 2nd. News November 2nd. 2007, 8:53 pm

After some weeks of the last I managed to complete a release of Asterisk CTI. It was not easy to reconcile development with other work. Efforts were concentrated on the following points:

  • improve the basic functionality before release;
  • prepare a basic project documentation;
  • write examples of use;
  • provide a binary release and a release of the source;
  • create the installers for the Windows platform;
  • prepare the CVS and load all the source code.

The software is still far from being a mature product, but the goal of having a simple system for integrating Asterisk with your desktop applications has been reached. At this point I hope the operation of the open source community to improve this project!
