nLite .. or create your setup cd for XP!

A few days ago a friend has given me his laptop, an HP nx6310, for a reinstallation. Immediately I asked the recovery CD that usually comes out of the notebook package: Lost! We contacted HP but it seems that you can not have a copy. So you have carried out starting with a reinstall of XP cd but ... total luck: The notebook has a SATA drive not recognized by the installer of XP.

"Vabè" - you say - "floppy download the drivers from HP and vai" ... Too bad the laptop in question does not have a floppy drive!

Wandering on the internet I immediately found the solution: nLite ( http://www.nliteos.com ). This great utility allows you to customize the installer for XP in many ways (even lets you integrate Service Packs) and insert the missing drivers. Said and done. I customized the installation disk of XP in a few minutes, I burned (all the while using nLite) and the installation was successful. Spectacular!
