A few days before the release of version 1.4.12 has appeared on the site a release of Asterisk 1.4.13. As reported in the release notes, this version fixes some problems in the implementation of IMAP storage for voicemail. It is further noted that all systems that do not use IMAP storage for voicemail are immune from this problem.

The new release also includes the resolution of other bugs including some deadlocks, some problems in the forms res_jabber, chan_sip, and other minor problems.
